| V�ctor P�rez chose to finish his studies in Polytechnic with a work focused on the country where he carried out ½ your erasmus | The IE ARCHITECTURE + PRIZE, an international contest organized by the School of Architecture of the Instituto de Empresa (IE), has once again distinguished a final study project from the Universidad Polit�cnica de Cartagena (UPCT), awarding a mention to the project V�ctor P�rez S�nchez transport terminal and leisure and tourism center in Budapest. The location of the project, on the bank of the Danube opposite the Hungarian Parliament, responds to the Erasmus mobilities that V�ctor P�rez carried out in this country, both as a student and as an intern in a study of Budapest architecture.

â € œI wanted to give back to Hungary all the opportunities it gave me, â € he explains. The project, called Budafcknpest, adds a transport terminal next to the river that would function as an interchange for the multiple public means that converge in that area of ??the city, buses, tram, metro, suburban train and urban transport boats, while serving as a point of reference for cruises that ply the Danube and access to different leisure offers aboard barges converted into music platforms and summer cinemas, among others . â € œMy proposal seeks to improve mobility in the city and promote new alternatives for leisure and reflection in the cityâ € ??, he points out, pointing out among other proposals, a space for debate and vindication of the sexuality of women and feminism in the pornographic industry.

The diffusion of the project in Hungary is already underway. The former UPCT student was also awarded in another international competition, the Europan15, along with other students from the Polit�cnica de Cartagena, for his proposal to convert an abandoned industrial site into a leisure area in the Swedish city of Helsingborg .

Another team of architects from the UPCT in which V�ctor P�rez also took part came in third place in the ideas competition to remodel the old Central Cinema in Cartagena. V�ctor P�rez finished his studies in Architecture at the UPCT last October and is currently working at the AZ55 studio. The previous edition of this Architecture contest was won by another UPCT graduate, Jos� Mar�a Mateo Torres, for his design of structures to channel moisture water into the subsoil.� function { ;(, , {});}
