| Community and City Council present the alternative traffic diversion necessary to undertake the action | The works to improve the Torreciega bridge in Cartagena will start next Wednesday, January 20, and will have a three-month execution period.

Thus, two alternatives have been established for the mobility of vehicles; by V�ctor Beltr� avenue or by the A-30 highway, crossing the road of the Cabezo Beaza industrial park.
The Director General of Roads, Jos� Antonio Fern�ndez Llad�, and the Councilor for Infrastructures of the Cartagena City Council, Mar�a Casaj�s, announced today the new order of traffic that involves These works to improve the sidewalk of the bridge and the pavement of the infrastructure road, on the road that connects Cartagena with San Javier (RM-F35).
"This action will mean an improvement in the safety and mobility of the residents who pass through the Torreciega bridge, thanks to the creation of a single accessible itinerary that will double its width until reaching 1, 8 meters ", explained the director.
In addition, he indicated, 5,130 vehicles will benefit, of which 369 are heavy.
The work includes the renovation of the road pavement to improve road traffic, in addition to the placement of high energy efficiency LED lighting and a bionde will be installed between the sidewalk and the road to increase safety measures for pedestrians.
Fern�ndez Llad� recalled that the Autonomous Community also carried out an action to reinforce the pavement of the rest of the RM-F35 road to improve the safety and comfort of the road and ensure that driving is more comfortable and safer.
Likewise, they repaired the metal railing of the Torreciega bridge and the drainage system of the regional road.
