| The City Council remains willing to give land in front of the Santa Luc a hospital if the option of the pol Gono was not viable | The mayor of Cartagena, Ana Bel n Castej n, has offered to the Ministry of Justice to expedite the administrative procedures necessary for the City of Justice to be able to start up in the Cabezo Beaza industrial estate, if they are closed the negotiations that the Government of Spain maintains to buy two buildings there. “For the City of Cartagena, and I understand that for the whole of society, the option they propose is very positive since it would accelerate the launch of the long-awaited and necessary City of Justice, which is what everyone we wish, ”explained Castej n, who this morning sent a letter to the Minister of Justice, Juan Carlos Campo, in the same terms. The mayor explained that, if this option were not finally viable, the City Council remains willing to give up the land that it had offered in front of the Santa Luc a hospital and that the technicians had valued very positively.

“There is no legal or urban problem for the assignment of this land.

This alternative still stands and is perfectly viable.

There is no doubt in this regard, since if there were problems, land could not have been given to the Autonomous Community for the expansion of an institute, nor could the Santa Luc a Hospital have been built ”, Castej n points out. The construction of the City of Justice is fundamental for Cartagena, for which the mayor has shown her satisfaction with the fact that the Ministry has sufficient funding for the acquisition of the two buildings and has expressed his wish that it be a reality as soon as possible.
