| El Paso de los Elefantes restaurant wins the second prize and Belisa Complementos the third | The jury of the 1st Nativity Scene Contest in commercial establishments organized by the Campus of the Universidad Cat lica San Antonio in Cartagena has determined that the winner of the first prize, endowed with 300 euros, has been the one located in the Toni Modas showcase, located in Ronda Ferrol street, number 12, of Cartagena.
In second place, the nativity scene assembled by the El Paso de Los Elefantes restaurant, located in Plaza Doña Urraca 6, has won 200 euros, and in third place Belisa Complementos has won the prize of 150 euros for the showcase that It is located at Calle San Fernando 70.
The first two classified stand out for their large size and large number of biblical scenes and resources used.
UCAM has organized for the first time this nativity scene contest in commercial establishments, together with the private one won by Mar a del Valle N ñez, in order to promote the celebration of Christmas with Christian traditions, at the same time which contributes to boosting the city's economy.
In this sense, the winning family will spend the 200 euros received as a prize for the best particular nativity scene in the establishments that also presented their nativity scene.
The twelve nativity scenes in the shop windows that participate in this contest, in which the City Council collaborates, will be on display, at least until January 6, for which the route of nativity scenes can be consulted along with that of the Los Dolores Campus on the web https://eventos.ucam.edu/58668/files/i-concurso-de-belenes-ucam-cartagena.html.
