Also through the representative of Cartagena for Charity, Rosa Amelia Romero, the Mother Superior of the Little Sisters of the Poor in Lima, the Spanish Sister Ignacia de Mar a, received a financial donation with which help them with the needs they have in said Asylum where they live in extreme poverty. On the other hand, the Fundaci n Escribiendo Sonrisas en Venezuela, led by the young writers Reinaldo de Fern ndez and Isamar Baptista, brought to the La Peña Community of the indigenous Municipality of La Guajira, the help that Cartagena for the Caridad sent them, and in which 80 boys and girls received Christmas gifts, participated in a community lunch and food baskets were given to their mothers and representatives. Cartagena for Charity has also collaborated with the campaign “Drops of Solidarity in Cartagena, promoted by the association“ Luz Azul ”, with the Food Bank in Cartagena, Little Sisters of the Poor in Cartagena, as well as with the San Diego Parish and San Gines de la Jara Parish, providing food, hygiene products, Christmas sweets, etc.
