| The video concert, with Adri n Jos Carreto Crespo and Mario Muñoz lvaro, will premiere on Monday, at 8 in the afternoon, on the YouTube channel of the Town Hall | On Monday, January 4, at 8:00 p.m., the premiere of the video-concert ' oxid' will take place on the YouTube channel of the Cartagena City Council. The winning group of the XXII edition of Entre Cuerdas y Metales in the Chamber Music modality, formed by Mario Muñoz lvaro, percussionist, and Adri n Carreto Crespo, saxophonist, present us with a new project.
This is part of the cycle of Promotional Concerts of said contest. It is about ' xic', a performance in which we will enjoy original works composed by the same interpreters.
A metaphor in itself of the reality that surrounds us today, seeking to create a social conscience, through objects to which time is already a mere apathetic flow.
On this trip we enter a junkyard, in search of materials, which have already ended their "useful" life, with the intention of listening to them and giving them a new function, creating from the inert or useless, granted Giving these objects an importance in the temporal cycle of music. We all have our own junkyard.
There we keep memories, camouflaged scars; and all this is falling apart, eaten by rust.
What is intended with 'rust' is to rescue all that junk and let it ring.
And listen.
All our metaphorical junk will be externalized in the form of sound.
All this, while seeking to carry out a critical analysis of the society in which we live, where people let themselves be carried away by others, or by themselves, and where we all end up being nothing more than screw between tons of metals.
Pieces without personality, where the rust of the influences does not let us uncover the metallic shine that we all carry inside us.
