This project, framed in the 2020 Gypsy Development Plan subsidized by the Murcian Institute of Social Action IMAS, is developed with the aim of promoting the improvement of the quality of life of all residents and facilitating participation and cohesion in the neighborhood. Despite the fact that this year is being especially difficult, the neighbors have made an effort and have decorated with great enthusiasm the common spaces of their buildings and also of some of the homes.
With this they have wanted to convey the unity and the feeling of solidarity that has been experienced in the neighborhood for many months and that has helped to overcome this complex situation. Two categories have been awarded: The facade of the best block and the facade of individual housing. The director of Social Services, Luc a Hern ndez, and the head of the Abraham Project in Cartagena, Toñi Villarino, delivered a plaque and some Christmas sweets to the winning neighbors on Tuesday, December 22.
