21 hours | Like every Christmas, the Regional Hemodonation Center together with the Cartagena City Council organizes the traditional blood donation, which this year will take place on Wednesday, December 23 at the City Hall and will have all the sanitary measures of security. The Hemodonation Center makes an appeal to all citizens when they find themselves in a critical situation and with minimal blood reserves, their objective being to supply hospitals in the dates before Christmas Eve and Christmas.
For this, the blood draws will be carried out in the morning and afternoon, from 9:30 a.m.
to 2:00 p.m.
and from 4:00 p.m.
to 9:00 p.m. Likewise, the safety of both donors and nurses will be guaranteed with a strict protocol.
On the one hand, in the waiting room, which will be located in the Tom s Rico Room, there may not be more than six people, and they must maintain a safe distance between them at all times.
On the other hand, the V ctor Beltr Room will carry out the extractions. Although the entrance will be through the main door of the City Hall, the health personnel will control that the exit is through the door that faces Alcalde Zamora street. In addition to these special campaigns, Cartagena has a permanent point for blood donations that is located in the Rosell Hospital outpatient clinic.
