Last Friday, the Governing Council validated the budget proposal presented by the Institution's Rectoral team for 2021.

Said proposal included a reduction of 1.7% compared to 2020, making it the first time since 2015 that the UPCT is forced to reduce its budget compared to the previous year.

This reduction is due to the fact that the Institution has assumed a mere extension of the nominative subsidy of the Autonomous Community, given that the regional budgets have not been approved and the Multi-Year Financing Plan has ended.
