| Mar a Jos Soler: "La Trinca's political decisions endanger the public health of the population" | This morning, the councilor of the Municipal Group MC Cartagena, Mar a Jos Soler, has valued what happened during the afternoon of Saturday night, already recurrent in the main leisure streets of the Historic Center, where crowds gathered of young people, filling the streets due to the shortage of forces of public order.
"The residents of the Old Town verified what the disastrous management in terms of citizen security of a government installed in the senseless, which is leading Cartagena to the most absolute chaos is translated," has begun arguing the mayor.
Then, the Cartagena councilor has emphasized the reasons for the aforementioned.
"Crowds of young people in the main streets of the center that took advantage of the evident lack of police, the result of an incomprehensible political will that saves in the most essential, especially in times of pandemic ".
"Because avoiding those crowds is also guaranteeing the public health of the population, who in those circles lowers preventive measures with the risk that this implies," the MC councilor remarked.
In a municipal key, Mar a Jos Soler added that "everything arises from political decisions, those made by Esperanza Nieto and Juan Pedro Torralba, responsible for the Interior and Citizen Security, and those adopted by La Trinca as a whole, for example , in the last plenary session rejecting the MC motion that proposed the use of regional funds to expand the staff of the Local Police ".
To conclude, Soler has demanded from the local government, "the same we expect from Cartagena, responsibility.
This is not the time to save on security, because doing so also endangers the health of citizens, in addition s to alter the rest of many others.
We will see if they make decisions especially before the dates that we are about to receive or decide to continue looking the other way so as not to get wet in a situation that has already penetrated them.
