The SABIC Spain Foundation has made donations of protective equipment to the City Council, the Murcian Health Service and the Association of Companies and Shops of La Aljorra, donations of school supplies to the schools of La Aljorra, a donation n of medical teams to the Hospital de Santa Luc a, a campaign of employee donations to C ritas, and financial donations to the Hospital de Caridad, the Food Bank, the Collective of parents against drugs in favor of La Huertecica, the San Pedro Asylum Store Foundation, to the Hogar del Buen Samaritano, the Rascasa Association and the Little Sisters of the Poor Residence for the Elderly, for an amount of 158,368.48 euros. Juan Alemany has stated, “Aware of the serious crisis that the COVID19 pandemic has created during this 2020, SABIC through its Foundation, has wanted to overturn this year in a very special way to try to collaborate in the many health needs and social services, an effort that has been worthwhile to contribute as much as possible to improve the situation of many people ”. The SABIC Spain Foundation has among its main priorities in terms of Corporate Social Responsibility its commitment to the Community, actively collaborating in a wide range of volunteer actions, donations and cultural activities aimed at contributing voluntarily to social improvement, economic mic and environmental.

Health and vulnerable groups are now one of his priorities. This initiative is part of a large global donation campaign by SABIC to collaborate with NGOs, health authorities and local administrations that has also been expanded to support nearby communities during this COVID19 crisis and that in Europe has an endowment n of 1 million euros.
