| This Friday began the initiative launched by the City of Cartagena to help those most in need during these Christmas holidays | FC Cartagena CB has been one of the first to join the food collection campaign organized by the Cartagena City Council through the Department of Social Services, together with social entities that collaborate in this initiative, using the collection of the basketball game played last Sunday at the Palacio de Deportes against Alginet, in the purchase of basic necessities. Thus, the president of the basketball club, David Ayala, along with Pencho Cegarra and Carlos lvarez, secretary and treasurer of the entity, have accompanied two of the team's players, Daniel Kubra and Michael Crane, to make the purchase in the supermarket, this Friday, December 11, the day on which the municipal initiative that will continue throughout the weekend has begun. Once acquired, the food has been delivered to the president of the Food Bank, Juan G mez.
The articles will be distributed this Christmas among needy families in the municipality.
