| In Los Roses del Palmero- Cartagena | Two people have been arrested as alleged perpetrators of a crime against public health for drug trafficking About 538 doses of cocaine, one kilogram of hashish, two and a half kilos of cutting substance and diethyl ether, money, as well as useful for the dosage and distribution of the drug have been seized One of the detainees, with a long criminal record, has been admitted to prison The Civil Guard of the Region of Murcia, thanks to citizen collaboration, has developed the 'Tangano' operation in Cartagena, an investigation aimed at dismantling an active drug sales point that has resulted in the arrest of two people as alleged perpetrators of crime against public health for drug trafficking. In the searches carried out in two properties located in Los Roses-El Palmero de Cartagena, 538 doses of cocaine, one kilo of hashish, two and a half kilos of cutting substance and diethyl ether, money, as well as tools for the dosage and distribution of the drug. Citizen collaboration The investigation began last July when the Civil Guard received an anonymous statement about the possible existence of a cocaine point of sale in a building in Cartagena. La Benemérita organized a series of surveillance devices that made it possible to verify that it was a farm attended by numerous vehicles, located in Los Roses-El Palmero, in the Cartagena municipality.
The agents verified how the visitors had a short interview with two people and a few minutes later, they left the place. As a result of these surveillance, the agents identified the owner of the farm, an individual with an extensive criminal history for drug trafficking, and found out that, in addition, he had another family property, located in the vicinity of the first one on which they also carried out surveillance. In this way, it was found that both enclaves were, presumably, retail drug distribution points with a large influx of 'clients'. After several months of investigation and obtaining the necessary evidence to carry out the inspection of the ships, the Civil Guard has carried out the examination of both properties. In one of the farms, the Benemérita has seized about 538 doses of cocaine and a kilo of hashish, in addition to individual doses available for sale and cash.
In the other, the agents have found several doses of cocaine, two and a half kilos of cutting substance and a bottle of diethyl ether supposedly used to 'cook' or cut cocaine. Extensive experience in concealing narcotic substances The registration of the farms was complex due to its large area of ??land, as well as the fact that numerous pieces of animal meat were found buried or semi-buried and scattered throughout the compound that, apparently, would have been intentionally placed with the supposed intention of distracting the olfalto de los canes of the Civil Guard cynological service, specialists in drug detection. Los Benemérita has culminated the 'Tangano' operation with the arrest of two people, a 62-year-old Spaniard and a 24-year-old Moroccan who, together with the proceedings, the substances, the money and the intervened effects, have been made available to the Court of Instruction number 4 of Cartagena. With this operation, an active drug distribution point, mainly cocaine, in the port city, which supplied a large number of consumers, is dismantled. In the two inspected farms, located Los Roses-El Palmero de Cartagena, 538 doses of cocaine, one kilo of hashish, two and a half kilos of cutting substance and diethyl ether, money and supplies have been seized for the dosage and distribution of the drug. The main male ringleader, a 62-year-old Spaniard, with a long criminal record for drug trafficking, has entered provisional prison.
