| The adaptation works of these facilities in La Palma and Molinos Marfagones will conclude during the month of December | The Department of Education of the City of Cartagena contracted a month ago, approximately, the works to remodel the spaces in which, before the end of this year, the two new municipal study classrooms of La Palma and Molinos Margafones will be located.The works have been contracted for a value of 60,036.50 euros, of which 32,697.59 euros will be allocated to the remodeling of the space located in the social premises of Molinos Marfagones and 27,338.91 euros to the classroom on La Palma.The mayor of Education, Irene Ruiz, visited the work on Thursday to check its degree of execution.
“I have been able to verify that the works to open two new classrooms in La Palma and Molinos Marfagones are well advanced.
With these two new spaces, there are now five study rooms that make up the municipal network to serve students and opponents, since in the last legislature those of El Albujón, El Algar and Pozo Estrecho were opened ”, said the councilor of Education."Our goal is to continue expanding the network of study classrooms throughout the municipality, reaching new councils and neighborhoods of Cartagena, to offer all possible facilities so that students and opponents can have this service close to home", he stressed Irene Ruiz.The La Palma classroom will have 20 study places and the one at Molinos Marfagones, with 16.
Both will remain open 24 hours a day, with connection to the municipal Wi-Fi network, and will be controlled by a 24-hour video surveillance system, so that users can access using a personal card.WORKS HIRED FOR THE BARRIERS CLASSROOMIn addition, Los Barreros will open a study classroom very soon.
The Cartagena City Council has already contracted the works to carry out the works that will allow the remodeling of the space in which the municipal facility will be located.The works have been awarded for a value of 47,795 euros and will have an execution period of three weeks, so that throughout the month of January they are scheduled to start operating.The new study hall will be launched in the Youth facilities at the confluence between Camino Viejo de Pozo Estrecho and Travesía Trece de Septiembre streets, and will have 16 seats.In this way, it will be open 24 hours a day and will be controlled by a 24-hour video surveillance system.
As in existing classrooms, users will be able to access the study room using a personal card and it will be connected to the municipal Wi-Fi network.
