For this reason, the mayor has read one of the poems that make up the book, `Sendero´, a“ sample ”of all the aspects that are present in the author's verses:Like the eight syllable versethe eight-blade mill. The words are the candles. The candles are the words.Spin, white mill, for the verse to sing.Turn, octosyllable, turn, that there is an east wind. From the deep cool wellthe mill will draw the water. And the stanza, the joyFrom the clear well of the soulGo round, octosyllable verse.Open your candles to the air.Sing, little mill, sing, that there is an east wind.Molino, drop the syllables.Verse, let your blades turn. That you hold the sails, wind.Mill, let the water rise! The illustrator from Cartagena, Salvador Torres, has expressed his gratitude to the Cartagena City Council, the Carmen Conde-Antonio Oliver Board of Trustees and the co-editors, Francisco de la Iglesia and María José Vázquez for the support provided to carry out this new edition of Mast.Torres detailed that "it has been a work of reconstruction of the aesthetics appropriate to each poem and we have decided that it be summarized in 10 works that reflect the spirit of the work and the poet's creative moment.
