The Cartagena City Council has awarded the basic project and the execution project for the rehabilitation of the property located in Callejón de Zorrilla.The works have been awarded for 203,000 euros, compared to the 264,987 euros that had been budgeted, which represents a saving of 23.4% with respect to the amount for which the work went out to tender.The works will begin at the beginning of January and will contemplate the rehabilitation of the exterior and interior of the property, and will include a reinforcement in the security of the structure, the accesses and the interior, the protection of the building against noise, installations with energy efficiency criteria and environmental conditioning system.In addition, the distorting elements of the facade will be eliminated, such as a parabolic antenna, some embedded iron, the downpipe or the wiring that is subject to the height of the first floor and that must be buried.It is a four-storey building with about 200 meters built, of which the facade, the interiors, the original floors, the hydraulic tile of the staircase, which must be maintained and restored as well as the original pavement, will be maintained.
