| Municipal technicians and Civil Protection carry out visits from this Thursday, November 26, through the different areas of Cartagena in order to detect homeless people and offer them accommodation in Hospitality Santa Teresa | The Homeless People Service of the Department of Social Services of the Cartagena City Council together with the Civil Protection staff have launched a special device due to the municipality's weather situation, which includes ensuring that those in vulnerable situations they are in a street situation, they can stay in the Hospitalidad Santa Teresa and thus avoid suffering from inclement weather.The device began this Thursday, November 26, with visits by Civil Protection and Social Services technicians to different spaces and places in the city of Cartagena in the morning, afternoon and evening, in order to detect the maximum number possible from these situations.
Once all the points where these people settle, most of them with serious addictions, have been located, the effort is focused on ensuring that, at least during the expected heavy rains, they leave the street and can improve their living conditions.In the same way, these visits are being carried out on the day of this Friday, November 27.
