| The pavement repair work, which will begin next week, has a municipal investment of 47,795 euros | The Cartagena City Council has awarded the contract to reinforce the pavement of the Plaza Puertas de San José.
The repair work on the firm, which is scheduled to begin shortly, has a municipal investment of 47,795 euros.The councilor for Municipal Services, Juan Pedro Torralba, explained that these works respond to the need to solve "the poor condition of said pavement, since it is one of the main access roads to the city of Cartagena and supports every day a lot of traffic ”.The works to be carried out in this way consist of:- Firm milling 6 cm thick of deteriorated layer and removal of material.- 1,400 square meters of intermediate layer.- 6 cm layer of hot asphalt agglomerate.- Grading of tapas.- Painting.As Juan Pedro Torralba has advanced, the works, which should begin next week, have an execution period of 5 days from the signing of the reconsideration act and the guarantee period in one year from receipt of the infrastructure .
"In just two weeks we have contracted the works to improve the road surface of two of the main accesses to the city, the Plaza de Alicante and the Plaza de las Puertas de San José, with which we seek to continue strengthening road safety in our municipality" , has pointed out.
