In the Immediate Action Plan for Economic Recovery, 3.5 million euros have been earmarked for actions to improve the environment.

In recent years, the quality of its waters has increased considerably, terrestrial and marine ecosystems have been recovered, and the fleet of vehicles is being renewed by more efficient ones powered by LNG, LPG and electric.
