| This program is a municipal initiative to help job seekers in the municipality of Cartagena to find work | The Activation for Employment program of the ADLE, Agency for Local Development and Employment, has finished today, Thursday, November 19, its first phase in which theoretical content is taught.“During this first part of the program, each of the 12 selected people is trained and guided, improving their employability.

The program's technical team works on motivation and orientation, facilitating the development of skills, providing tools and helping in the planning of a new insertion itinerary ”, said the president of the ADLE, Irene Ruiz.The Employment Activation program is aimed at long-term job seekers over 45 with family responsibilities and who find it difficult to access the labor market.This program began on October 22 and today, November 19, the first part of training has ended.

It will be on Monday, November 23, when the internship phase begins in different companies in Cartagena until December 23.In this first phase of the Activation program, an innovative methodology has been incorporated, encompassing different activities, among which we can highlight:· Self-awareness workshop to identify strengths and skills for employment.

Enhancement of my profile as a professional.· Development of skills for employment and relationships in the work environment, personal and social skills, such as communication skills, decision-making, assertiveness, empathy, emotional intelligence and teamwork.· Training to successfully pass job interviews.· Search for information and online job offers, new technologies in the search for the job market.· Prevention of risks and COVID regulations in companies.· Training in Mindfulness.Thus ends this first phase of training to begin the practical phase in companies in each sector, according to the experience and professionalism of each of the beneficiaries of the program, which allows them to recover a work routine in a real environment, update their knowledge about specific tasks of their profession and, of course, allows a company to see the way they work, generating new job opportunities in the short and medium term.From the ADLE they appreciate the essential collaboration of the companies that are participating in this new edition.
