| To prevent the rains from flooding its road | The Autonomous Community is carrying out a work on the regional road that connects La Aparecida with the industrial estate of Los Camachos, in Cartagena (RM-F53), to reinforce road safety by preventing the rains from flooding its road.
The general director of Roads, José Antonio Fernández Lladó, indicated that the action aims to increase the hydraulic section in the water passage at kilometer 2, thanks to the installation of a double precast concrete frame. "This work will defend the road from the rains and the bed of the Rambla de Miranda, which crosses the road at that point," said the regional official.
The action, which will conclude during the month of November, is part of the repair schedule for the damage caused by last year's dana in the regional road network.
