| This is the finishing touch of the V Modernist Exhibition of Cartagena | The V Modernist Exhibition of Cartagena, which will end on November 15, opens this Wednesday, November 11, the exhibition of the photographer Joaquín Giró.
“True works of art that collect different scenes from the modernist era and that, in addition, are located in emblematic and wonderful places of our Cartagena heritage, such as our Casino, the Casa de los Pinos in Pozo Estrecho, the inauguration of the monument of the Heroes of Cavite by King Alfonso XIII, also scenes in Casa Beltrí or in the Huerto de las Bolas ”, explained the Councilor for Culture, David Martínez Noguera.The mayor also thanked Senda de Lobos for this wonderful piece of work, directed by Joaquín Giró, in which all the costume details, scenography, lighting have been meticulously taken care of, in short, all the details to be able to enjoy this exhibition and these modernist scenes, which will make us see details even of buildings that often go unnoticed and are a marvel of our heritage.The rest of the activities of the Modernist Exhibition of Cartagena have been carried out online to adapt to health circumstances under the slogan "History Repeats itself", since its poster refers to the medical and health personnel of the years of the pandemics that occurred in the era of modernism, such as the Spanish flu and cholera.
