In the presentation they have been accompanied by José Ángel Díaz, President of the Regional Association of Merchants of Cartagena, and the manager of the Automenor dealer, Alberto de la Corte, in which the details of the campaign, which will consist of the distribution of 200,000 scratch cards awarded with direct gifts and with participation in a car raffle. Ana Correa stressed that "the campaign is aimed at all merchants in the city of Cartagena, whether or not they belong to an association.

In the words of Manuel Padín "This is an initiative born within the Council of Commerce to try to help small businesses at a time when they need us more than ever," said the councilor, who added that the objective it is "that the citizens maintain and renew their confidence in the commerce of always". For his part, José Ángel Díaz thanked Automenor for his involvement in the initiative and stressed that it is "an ambitious campaign to show that small businesses are still alive and call on citizens to make their purchases in these establishments ". Establishments that want to participate in the campaign must register for it through the COEC website and will have seven days to do so, closing the registration period next Tuesday, November 17, at 4:00 p.m.
To participate it is not necessary to belong to any merchant association and it will have no cost. The campaign will begin on Thursday, November 19 and will last until January 6.
Customers can get a scratch card for every purchase over 20 euros in participating establishments.
The direct gifts will consist of vouchers of 25 and 50 euros to be exchanged at any of the participating businesses.
There will also be prizes that will be participations in the draw for a car at the end of the campaign, coinciding with the Extraordinary Draw of the National Lottery on January 6.
In addition, electric skates will be raffled off. Likewise, the Caja Rural Regional, Cajamar and Caja Rural Central also collaborate in the campaign. It is estimated that the commercial initiative can mobilize a minimum of four million euros in the sector.
