The meeting was held shortly after learning of the decision to close bars and restaurants in the Region of Murcia, adopted by the regional government this Wednesday, November 4.Castejón has transmitted the support of the local government to the hospitality industry.
“We know that it is a serious blow to this sector and, now more than ever, we must support them.
We have given ourselves 24 hours to meet again and present a package of aid to face this difficult situation, "said the first mayor.In addition, the mayor added that “during the meeting that all the mayors have held this morning, with the Minister of Health, I have requested that more aid or some type of measure be implemented by the Autonomous Community to try to alleviate this situation that is so negatively punishing the hospitality industry ”.For her part, Ana Belén Castejón also wanted to make an appeal to citizens for responsibility.
