This 'Different Night' will show in a virtual tour the different museum spaces of Cartagena, as well as the emblematic buildings of the city.It will be on Saturday, November 14, a date postponed by the International Council of Museums (ICOM) and will be held through the website of the cultural event and its social networks.
"Since then, in the Youth Council we have been working on this magical but different night and, finally, we will have to enjoy it from home," said the councilor for the Youth area, David Martínez Noguera.In this way, the public will be able to know the interior of our rich historical-artistic heritage without leaving home, appealing to the responsibility that health circumstances require.Interested people will be able to enjoy, virtually, the oldest Cartagena seen from the Theater, Amphitheater and Roman Forum, a walk through the Nuestra Señora de los Remedios Cemetery, through the exhibition 'The silent city', of the important military and naval presence that leaves us, among others, such illustrious figures as Isaac Peral, of the stained glass tradition of the Santa Lucía neighborhood, of the way of life of the western area of ??Campo de Cartagena, of the history that exists behind from the Street Art works of the city, from the great Renaissance engineers such as Leonardo Da Vinci, from the Modernist Cartagena, through such emblematic buildings as the City Hall, among other places in the municipality.These virtual visits can be held on Saturday, November 14, from 10:00 to 22:00."It is about a day and a night that, although it will be different, will once again make Cartagena shine with its own light," said Martínez Noguera.SELECTED PROPOSALS XII EDITIONAs stated in the bases, in its last modification by the Local Government Board, the projects selected for this purpose will become part of the next edition of 2021, scheduled for May 15.That is why the Organization of the event has all those projects selected for the next edition of The Night of the Museums, being these subject to the bases of the Call for Artistic Proposals to which they were presented.The projects selected for this XII Edition of The Night of the Cartagena Museums are the following:-The Affections of the Heart.
