This year will be different due to COVID-19 and, therefore, an online presentation program has been developed that will begin this Thursday, October 29.This year's campaign has focused on informing about the CAVI, Center for Attention to Victims of Gender Violence, where it is located and what services it offers due to the fact that it has been detected ignorance in the citizens about what to do or where to go when suffering or a situation of this type is known."This year it is even more important to commemorate this day because the effect that the pandemic has had on our society, from a gender perspective, is alarming," said the councilor for the area of ??Equality, David Martínez.COVID-19 has deepened the different gender gaps that continue to exist in all areas of society.During this program of online presentations, the different types of violence against women will be analyzed from childhood to adulthood.

Currently, the CAVI has open the files of 565 women.Finally, the Councilor for Equality has appealed to citizens: "Involvement in gender violence is important, if you listen to a woman who is suffering, if you know of any case, report it."
