This week it was the turn of El Algar, where the councilor met with the president of the Neighborhood Council, Paqui Martínez Sotomayor and with the municipal technicians.In this meeting, the mayor has exposed to the president of the board the opening of 22 files on cleaning of lots in the council.
Of the total, the owners have already cleaned 7 plots, while the rest continue their procedure in different phases.
In addition, 3 municipal property plots are in process.
Paqui Martinez has communicated the need to clean 3 more privately owned plots and another 5 municipal ones, which is why today the technicians are opening the file.The deputy mayor has explained to the neighborhood leader that in the case of municipally owned plots, ten days before the cleaning will proceed to deratting, and once clean they will be fumigated, and as a novelty in the procedure, when they are owned private will also require the same protocol to the owners.
In the event of having to carry out the cleaning alternatively, it will be the Cartagena City Council itself who will carry out these tasks.Finally, Manuel Padin recalled that these rounds of contacts are precisely to have the collaboration of the neighbors and be able to have all the necessary information about the parcels and plots of the municipality, insisting that it is essential to notify as soon as you have knowledge of a need to be able to act as soon as possible.
