In this edition, under the slogan, 'A different night', it will do so by adapting to the new reality with which we live ".The design of the poster has been carried out by Juan Miguel Sánchez Nieto, who explained in the presentation of the poster that his intention was "to combine what is magical about this event and of importance for the city of Cartagena with the current reality." Regarding the symbolism of the poster, the author detailed that "when visualizing a tightrope walker trying to balance on a rope that is invisible, he refers to the balance that we are forced to perform on a daily basis in this extraordinary situation that we are experiencing."In addition, the artist detailed that in the lower part of the poster the Town Hall appears with a light and a flag that symbolizes "an absolutely necessary institutional guide to strengthen the existing social and health structure." On the other hand, there are also Chinese lanterns, whose meaning is prosperity and good luck, "I use them as a collective wish of the entire city to launch a message of hope", concluded the author.Martínez Noguera pointed out that the organization of the event "is working to be able to offer participants, workers and artists a safe culture space in which to enjoy and respect current sanitary measures".
For this reason, the councilor explained that in this edition the actions in the street have been eliminated, the capacity is limited and all activities will have prior registration, taking into account all hygienic-sanitary means. On the other hand, the mayor advanced a part of the event's programming, "we will have 15 routes and guided tours of different themes, which will be in the morning and in the afternoon, to take advantage of the day, for groups of 6 to 14 people" .
Among these routes stood out: "La Cartagena de Máiquez", essential in this year of its bicentennial; the visit to the Apolo Theater in El Algar, which will introduce participants to the ins and outs of this mythical space; The Campo de Cartagena, which will once again be the protagonist through a tour of the most important sites in the western area, as well as the Route of the Windmills, to learn the history of those giants that centuries ago dominated the horizon of our land".After the success of the previous edition, the Cartagena Port Authority will hold an open day to publicize one of the most significant maritime signals, such as the centenary and lighthouse of Cabo de Palos. Those interested in participating in any activity of the Night of the Museums will be able to register from November 3 through its website. In addition, the Councilor for Culture took the opportunity to highlight the figure of volunteers, "who have become a fundamental pillar for events like this to be special."The technician responsible for the coordination of the Youth Council and the Night of the Museums, María del Mar Sánchez, detailed the functions of the volunteers, who are directed and coordinated by the Implica2 program of the Youth Council. The functions of the volunteers consist of carrying out the control of the capacity, informative advice and logistical support as well as accompaniment in the routes and guided visits of the events.
