| The works, within the urbanization tasks of Polígono I of the Rambla Partial Plan, will begin on Monday, October 19, forcing drivers and pedestrians to use alternative routes | Next Monday, October 19, starting at five in the morning, the Cartagonova Stadium bridge will be cut off to road and pedestrian traffic, due to the urbanization works of Polygon I of the Rambla Partial Plan, which will allow its definitive connection with Cantón Avenue. The works will last approximately two weeks and will consist of the construction of a new route connecting the four lanes of the bridge with the four that the Avenida del Cantón will have along its entire route, becoming one of the main access and exit roads from the Ensanche de Cartagena to the west.As reported by the Local Police, drivers and pedestrians will have to use alternative routes during these two weeks. In the case of drivers, the Rambla bridge towards Pio XII avenue in Barrio de la Concepción is indicated as alternatives; or the Alameda de San Antón towards Sebastián Feringán.In the case of pedestrians, they may use as an alternative the elevated steps that exist to give access to the Health Center or the Rambla Park.During the works, it has also been planned to enable specific access to vehicles or buses for football teams that play official matches at the Cartagonova stadium.
