Aznar, Jesús Inglés, Paca Calvo, Ángel Maciá and two sculptors, Belén Orta and Jorge Aznar, all of them from Cartagena, have come together around the exhibition 'Vir Et Terram', an exhibition that collects the concern and sensitivity of these artists in the conception of the universe and the close correspondence between it and the human being, and the influence of the four elements (air, earth, water and fire) in the destiny of man.
It will be open until December 13 at the Palacio Molina in Cartagena. 'Vir Et Terram' has been inaugurated and presented to the media this morning, Thursday, October 15, by David Martínez Noguera, the Councilor for the Culture area of ??the Cartagena City Council, and by the artists Jesús Inglés, Paco Calvo, Ángel Maciá and Belén Orta. At the inauguration, David Martínez pointed out: "Some artists took advantage of the days of confinement to create, as is the case with these six creatives from Cartagena, who based on elements of nature show their beauty, so that we do not forget that, no matter what happens, life goes on behind the balcony, nature awaits us and is not crying out for us not to continue destroying it.
" For his part, Ángel Maciá, on behalf of the artists, commented that "man, the earth and the relationship we have with what surrounds us, have given a new warning, a new opportunity.
We cannot miss it.
The air that we breathe, the water where we submerge ourselves, the land that has seen us being born and the fire that drives us to move forward ...
These are difficult, very difficult times, and artists can contribute our vision of a reality that can be changed ".
The sample is made up of oil and acrylic works on large canvases, as well as small-format series.
There is also a sculptural part.
Sculpture and painting interact in this exhibition to offer, under the gaze of these six artists, a direct relationship with the Earth. SCHEDULE: From Tuesday to Friday:Morning: 10:00 a.m.
