| The City Council will undertake solutions that tend to guarantee the sanitary recommendations for November 1 | The Department of Health of the City of Cartagena will undertake in the coming days actions in the municipal cemeteries of Santa Lucía, San Antón, Alums and San Ginés de la Jara to guarantee compliance with the health recommendations derived from the coronavirus pandemic on the occasion of the Day de Todos los Santos, which will take place on November 1.Thus, in a meeting chaired by the deputy mayor and head of the area, Manuel Padín, together with technicians from the Department, Local Police and leaders of the administrative boards of the cemeteries, it has been agreed to carry out the necessary work to comply with the advice of the regional government.
In this sense, an entrance door and an exit door will be enabled in each cemetery, with their proper signage, in order to avoid the crowding of people at the doors of the facilities.Likewise, it has been decided to hire security to guarantee the capacity of the cemeteries, as well as to avoid crowds inside them.
This service will focus on the weekend of November 1, beginning the close surveillance on the facilities on Thursday and ending on the Sunday of the festival itself.
It is a complementary measure to the special control device for the vicinity of the graveyards that the Local Police deploys each year.Separation screens will also be placed in those cemetery offices that do not yet have them to guarantee the safety of workers and visitors who come to pay any receipt.
In the same way, the taps of the toilets will be analyzed to adapt them to their pulsed use, so that users are not forced to touch the dispensers with their hands.
Finally, the cemeteries will also be provided with hydroalcoholic gels.In addition, explanatory posters will be placed in all cemeteries so that visitors are informed at all times of the measures taken.
