Fundación Repsol, in collaboration with the Blanca Marsillach Theater Company, has once again developed adapted theater workshops for people with disabilities. APICES users have enjoyed, in two different countries, with the performance of the play 'Entremeses'.
During the workshop they had the opportunity to become actors improvising the funniest scenes. With this representation, in which actors with and without disabilities participate, theater is used to bring culture closer to all audiences and offer new experiences to the viewer. Fundación Repsol and the Blanca Marsillach Theater Company have joined forces for another year to bring their adapted theater workshops to people with different abilities.
On this occasion, APICES users have enjoyed the performance of the play 'Entremeses' in their day center. Professional actors with and without disabilities have climbed onto the adapted stage who, after the performance of the play, have given APICES users the opportunity to become actors for a day by improvising the funniest scenes.
The representation is designed so that the spectators are the true protagonists, participating in different theatrical exercises that help reinforce their security and self-esteem. The activity, which has been carried out in two different countries, has been an interactive experience adapted to people with disabilities.
Fundación Repsol and the Blanca Marsillach company will take this workshop to other cities such as A Coruña, Bilbao or Tarragona. The play 'Entremeses' is an adaptation by Muñoz Seca and JM del Llano directed by Xabier Olza.
It is a comical, fresh and above all participatory adaptation with which Fundación Repsol and the Blanca Marsillach Theater Company have wanted to give a voice and claim the fundamental role of people with disabilities as professionals in the world of acting.
