The Minister of Business, Industry and Spokesperson, Ana Martínez Vidal, held a meeting with businessmen from the Cartagena region, together with the president of the Cartagena Regional Confederation of Business Organizations (COEC), Ana Correa. During the meeting, the counselor received the proposals and concerns of the businessmen of the Cartagena region.
Likewise, he announced all the aid launched from the Ministry of Business, Industry and Spokesperson, through the Institute of Promotion of the Region of Murcia, such as the Covid-Zero Cost line, which has mobilized up to 136 million euros with 5 million of budget, to provide liquidity to entrepreneurs and self-employed with loans under advantageous conditions. Among other issues, the European recovery instrument 'Next Generation EU' was also addressed.
This mechanism contemplates that each Member State must present its plans and describe its national investment and reform program.
"The program for the Region of Murcia will be delivered on October 15 and it will include investments and transport infrastructures so necessary for the economic boost of the region of Cartagena," said the counselor. "We are in full negotiations of the future Multiannual Financial Framework and we are working to ensure an active participation of the Community in the European institutions and bodies.
On the part of the regional government, the Economic Committee made up of the Business Councils, Industry and Spokesperson; Employment, Research and Universities; and Presidency and Finance, "explained Martínez Vidal.
