| Emergency services rescued and transferred to the hospital a man injured when he suffered a fall when he was walking through the Calblanque Regional Park (Cartagena) | Emergency services have rescued and taken to the hospital a 57-year-old man, who was injured when he fell while walking along a path in the Calblanque Regional Park, in the municipality of Cartagena.The 1-1-2 received a call informing of the accident at 11:42 am.
The caller, accompanying the injured person, indicated that they were on the GR-92 path, between the park's parking lot and Cala Parreño.
Firefighters from the Fire Extinguishing and Rescue Service were mobilized to the site, as well as personnel from the Cartagena City Council Civil Defense and a Mobile Emergency Unit (UME) with toilets from the Urgency and Health Emergencies Management 061.After being located, the injured man was rescued and evacuated by firefighters and made available to the emergency health services.
After being stabilized, he was transferred by the UME to the Cabo de Palos clinic and, from there, by non-assisted ambulance to the "Santa Lucía" hospital in Cartagena.
