| Members of Civil Protection and a Mobile Emergency Unit (UME) have also traveled to the scene of the events | Firefighters of the Firefighting and Rescue Service of the Cartagena City Council have rescued a 57-year-old man, on the morning of this Thursday, October 8, who has been injured when he suffered a fall when he was walking along a path in the Calblanque Regional Park .Firefighters from the Fire Fighting and Rescue Service have traveled to the site, as well as Civil Protection personnel from the Cartagena City Council and a Mobile Emergency Unit (UME) with toilets from the Emergency Management and Health Emergencies 061.The firefighters have proceeded to the rescue and evacuation of the injured person, to later make him available to the emergency health services, which after being stabilized has been transferred by the Mobile Emergency Unit (UME) to the Cabo de Palos office and, from there, by non-care ambulance to Hospital Santa Lucía de Cartagena.The injured man was on the GR-92 trail, between the Park's parking lot and Cala Parreño, as reported by the man's companion in the 1-1-2 call, made at 11:42 a.m.
