| The AEMET withdrew the warnings for adverse coastal phenomena at midnight | Two falls of branches and another one of cables were the most prominent incidents recorded by the firefighters of the Firefighting, Rescue and Civil Protection Service (SEIS) of the City of Cartagena in the afternoon yesterday, during the orange warning for strong gusts of wind and waves triggered by the Spanish Meteorology Agency (AEMET).All of them were recorded between 18:50 and 20:51 when the wind blew with greater intensity.
The branches had to withdraw from Parque Sauces and Calle Salamanca; while the cable fall occurred on Río Carrión street.Along with these interventions, a Lavapiés also had to be removed from the Portús beach due to the swell and two scrub fires in Los Urrutias had to be dealt with; a gas leak on Azucena street and the rescue of a wild boar that had fallen into the transfer channel in Miranda.At midnight the AEMET reported that all warnings for adverse meteorological phenomena in the Region of Murcia were withdrawn.
