| The Business Minister meets with merchants in the municipality to learn about the singularities of the sector due to the health crisis | The Autonomous Community works to maintain, reactivate and promote commerce in Cartagena, according to what the Minister of Business, Industry and Spokesperson, Ana Martínez Vidal, explained today in a meeting with the municipality's business associations. During the meeting, he announced the aid launched from the Murcia Region Development Institute, such as the Covid-Commerce Line, which mobilizes up to 10 million euros, covering the cost of the guarantee and facilitating access to merchants to financing. Martínez Vidal, who has already met with merchants from other regions of the Region, explained that "the three main objectives that we want to achieve from the General Directorate of Commerce and Business Innovation are to promote digitization and innovation in the commerce sector, its professionalization and, of course, launch programs and actions to encourage local consumption through revitalization actions in the municipalities ". During the meeting, the creation of an 'online' electronic commerce platform was also addressed to offer visibility to the products of merchants in the Region of Murcia. The counselor highlighted the importance of the budget of the General Directorate of Commerce and Business Innovation "reaching the largest number of businesses in the Region." "We must increase communication and exchange of information to maintain, reactivate and promote the real unity between Croem and the Trade Federation of the Region of Murcia to support safe consumption in local commerce.
