Although the incorporation to the classes is going to be done in a staggered way, the Catholic University has begun today the training through adapted face-to-face and bimodal training, guaranteeing the quality of teaching in all possible scenarios. The students of the Campus of the San Antonio Catholic University in Cartagena have started today with enthusiasm and a sense of responsibility the first classes of this course marked by the prevention measures implemented to face the pandemic and the implementation of bilingual English Dentistry. Although the starting day of the training varies according to the course and degree, today the first to step into the classrooms with the new rules of social distancing and mask have arrived, thanks to the adapted face-to-face system, which allows them to attend to the teacher's explanations in the classroom or through the live broadcast on the internet.

Other university students have also started today in a bimodal way, so the theoretical classes are received through the internet and the practices in person in small groups.

In this way, the development of teaching planning with all quality guarantees is guaranteed. Security protocol UCAM has developed a protocol with the most appropriate security measures so that its campuses have the maximum possible guarantees against the coronavirus.

This protocol includes different measures such as the provision of signage throughout the campus that facilitate the maintenance of the safety distance and signage with a decalogue of hygienic recommendations such as the mandatory use of a mask, hand cleaning, among others, with the objective of avoiding COVID infections.

At the same time, serological tests have been carried out on all teachers and administration and services personnel before the start of the course. There is also a room located on the Campus dedicated exclusively in case suspected cases of having contracted the virus are detected and which will be evaluated by health professionals.

In this way, UCAM works as an active center to stop the spread of the virus. UCAM Cartagena will teach this course, along with the new Degree in Bilingual Dentistry, the degrees in Nursing, Physiotherapy, Physical Activity and Sports Sciences, Criminology, Early Childhood and Primary Education in addition to the simultaneous studies of CAFD and Physiotherapy, and of CAFD and Primary education.

For their part, the students of the degrees in Law, Computer Engineering, Business Administration and Management, Psychology, Marketing and Tourism, and the masters in Access to the Legal Profession and Training of Teachers of Spanish as a Foreign Language, all from UCAM Online , will develop face-to-face exams at the port city headquarters.
