| The mayor of the area, Irene Ruiz, has explained that in a scenario as variable as that caused by COVID 19 permanent coordination is necessary to respond in an agile and efficient manner | The Councilor for Education, Irene Ruiz, has held a meeting this morning, September 20, with the Epidemiology service, dependent on the Ministry of Health, and with the management of Health Area II to coordinate the protocols of action against the COVID19 in municipal Infant Schools, since they are the only schools that depend on the Cartagena City Council."Since the beginning of the pandemic we have been in permanent contact with both managers via telematics or by telephone, something that we have intensified with the beginning of the course, but we consider it necessary to hold meetings of this type periodically since we find ourselves in a scenario subject to many variables, which may lead to the corresponding changes in the established protocol and permanent coordination is essential to be able to respond in an agile and effective way ”, explained the mayor.The meeting was attended by the Chief of Epidemiology, José Jesús Guillén, the Manager of Health Area II, Jose Manuel Sedes, the Deputy Director of Medicine of Area II, Pilar Espejo, the Deputy Director of Nursing of Area II, Pilar García Gómez, the Coordinator of Education and the person in charge of Nursery Schools, as well as technicians from the City Council's Occupational Risk Prevention service.Irene Ruiz recalled that the objective is that "together we look for an agile circuit so that we can resolve any doubts that may arise in each circumstance as quickly as possible".
