1:25 pm.- Maritime Rescue referred a rescue helicopter (HELIMER) and a SALVAMAR MIMOSA boat to evacuate two fishermen who have been injured aboard a fishing boat in the Cabo de Palos area, Cartagena.A call from the Maritime Rescue Coordination Center reported the activation of its rescue means, and requested toilets at the Cartagena Container Dock to transfer the injured.
The Medical Coordinator of the Urgencies and Health Emergencies Management 061 has activated two Mobile Emergency Units up to the agreed point.
The Civil Guard and the Technician of the Occupational Health and Safety Institute have also been informed.4:00 pm.- Health workers have reported that they transfer the two wounded men to the Santa Lucía Hospital in Cartagena, 44 and 52 years old respectively.
The first presents lower limb trauma and open bone fracture, and the second lower limb trauma.
