| Arroyo thanked the personal commitment to finish the work in record time | FC Cartagena faces its first home game tomorrow Sunday in its new stage as a member of the Second Division after three weeks of work to carry out the conditioning works of Cartagonova demanded by the Professional Football League, as they have verified in their visit to the stadium the vice mayor, Noelia Arroyo and the president of the club, Francisco Belmonte.Arroyo congratulated the workers of the club, the collaborating companies and the municipal officials for a job "that has only been possible thanks to a personal commitment of all" with which the works financed by the City Council have been carried out in record time.Belmonte thanked the Cartagena City Council for the trust placed in the club's responsiveness to get the work done and expressed his wish that “all Cartagena fans and all the people of the city feel represented by the image that we are going to give from the stadium and from Futbol Club Cartagena in this return to professional football ”.The refurbishment works have been carried out by the club in charge of the finalist grant that the municipal government has destined to improve the facilities and meet the requirements of the League in the stadium owned by the City Council.In addition to the installation of a new lawn, the works include the conditioning or creation of the referee and visitor changing rooms, and the VAR and anti-doping control rooms; the modernization of the press booths or the installation of platforms for broadcasts, as well as the fitting out of the toilets, which is addressed with less urgency due to the absence of public at the meetings.The first home game of FC Cartagena in its return to professional football will be played on Sunday from 18:15 at the Cartagonova stadium against Sporting de Gijón.
