| A total of 340 young people from the municipality of Cartagena will have the opportunity to apply for these training actions | The Youth Council of the Cartagena City Council has made a training program for the last quarter of 2020 in which a total of 21 training actions are offered, including courses and workshops, face-to-face and online, to which 340 young people from the municipality of Cartagena.The mayor of Youth, David Martínez Noguera, explained that this programming is divided into different thematic blocks, attending to the demands of the users of the different services that make up the Department.
“We have courses on new technologies and languages, focused mainly on the employment of young people; also related to leisure and free time, with courses as interesting as dubbing; workshops for the promotion of affective, sexual and reproductive health; the European solidarity program and the socio-educational intervention program with the Are you coming or I'm going? ”, the councilor recalled.ACTIVATION AND INSERTION OF YOUNG PEOPLE, in which the programmed training actions are preferably aimed at young beneficiaries of the National Youth Guarantee System, and among whose objectives is the learning and improvement of languages ??and technologies and the improvement of qualification in general to promote job placement.
Actions to be carried out:-Microsoft Certification: preparation for obtaining the MOS (Microsoft Office Specialist) certification-Certification of Cambridge, levels B1, B2 and C1 of English: preparation for obtaining the certification-Food handler-Lift Truck Operator, UNE 58451 Standard-Order management: Picking and Truck OperatorLEISURE AND FREE TIME, training actions aimed at education in leisure time through the development of cultural activities of a socio-educational nature, training and small online and face-to-face workshops, being the actions to be carried out:-Locution and Dubbing (Level 1)-Free time monitor-Digital Competitions for Free Time Monitors (On Line)-CineSalud CourseHEALTH AND GENDER in which the programmed Affective, Sexual and Reproductive Health Promotion Workshops have among their objectives to provide knowledge and skills to detect negative emotions and help improve interpersonal relationships, as well as offer information and tools to enjoy sexuality , (p) motherhood and parenting in a positive and respectful way.
Among the different actions are:-Female Sexuality Workshop-Caring Support Group: "La Tribu"-Emotional Kit for TeensMOVE AROUND EUROPE WITHOUT LEAVING CARTAGENA, where the young population will learn about the opportunities offered by the European Solidarity Corps Program, through National Volunteer Projects in Spain and Solidarity Projects.
How to be part of the work team of a Spanish organization or how to carry out a project dedicated to facing the challenges that arise in a neighborhood or local community are some of the actions that are proposed.
This training is also aimed at youth leaders, youth groups and associations.This training block will also offer training to advance in the knowledge of English, reinforcing language skills, thus favoring the ability to work on European projects that require minimal communication in another language.
Among the different actions are:-Workshop National Volunteering in Spain of the European Solidarity Corps (On line)-Workshop Solidarity Projects of the European Solidarity Corps (On line)-Webinar European Projects for Young People (On line)-Intermediate English B1 (On line)Along with these four major training blocks, the actions developed by the Youth Council in the field of Socio-educational Intervention through the program Are you coming? o Am I going ?, composed of activities such as talks and workshops aimed at students from educational centers, associations and youth groups, whose objective is to contribute to the personal and professional development of young people, these being the following:.
