| This Thursday a meeting will be held by videoconference between the Councilors of Sports of the Region and the General Director of Sports to discuss the calendar of return to the regional competitions and premises | The councilor delegate for Sports, Diego Ortega, has addressed the presidents of the sports clubs of the municipality of Cartagena to inform them of the protocol to follow for holding competitions, given the current situation.Thus, for this season and as of today, only teams or athletes from clubs that, being federated, participate in state-level competitions can train and compete.Both the training sessions and the meetings will be held behind closed doors, events that must have, as until now, with the authorization of the Autonomous Community, which is still preparing the order that will regulate the incorporation of athletes who participate in regional and local competitions, regulation that will progressively incorporate federated athletes over 18 years of age and, subsequently, minors.Regarding the use of the courts, soccer fields and pavilions, at the moment it is exclusive for the teams mentioned above, and the rental of spaces is not authorized except for paddle tennis and tennis, up to a maximum of 6 people on the court.In view of the events, the situation will continue to be evaluated pending the regulation of the sports and health authorities in order to make sport safer.This Thursday, September 17, Diego Ortega will participate in the meeting that will take place, starting at 1:00 p.m., by videoconference between the Sports Councilors of the entire region and the General Director of Sports to discuss the schedule back at regional and local competitions.
