| The objective is to value the important Natural heritage of the Region of Murcia through the flora, fauna, environment and ecosystems of the Mar Menor | "La Pandilla Salada, discovering the Mar Menor" is the first interactive urban itinerant exhibition in the Region of Murcia and this Wednesday, August 26, it has arrived in Mar de Cristal, together with the Secret of Water, with the aim of highlighting the important Natural heritage of the Region of Murcia through the flora, fauna, environment and ecosystems of the Mar Menor.The delegate councilor for Tourism, Cristina Pérez, has indicated that it is now "Cartagena's turn, so that both residents and visitors can discover the richness of the Mar Menor through audio guides and recreational challenges." This action is promoted and organized by the General Directorate of Mar Menor, dependent on the Ministry of Water, Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and the Environment and has toured the municipalities of the Mar Menor during the month of August. The exhibition has six different environments articulated through the fun characters that make up La Pandilla Salada and inhabit the Mar Menor (Caballito, Langostino, Anguila, Medusa, Seba and Nacra), as representative animals of this our Wetland.
"The sample, which is recommended to be equipped with your own mobile phone to improve the experience, is intended to sensitize and involve tourists and neighbors in the respect, conservation and care of the Mar Menor through training and knowledge of it ”, Explained Pérez.To actively involve families, each environment hides a challenge consisting of finding one of the characters of the Salada gang.
And it is that Caballito, Langostino, Anguila, Medusa, Seba and Nacra will be hidden by the different environments of the exhibition.
For the curious to discover them, they will have to listen to the real characteristics of each character through a story told by themselves in the different audio guides.In addition, “those who participate and take a selfie with each of the members of the Salada Gang will be able to go to the authorized points where, after showing their photos, they will be able to collect a prize, which will be the OMITA of Los Belones, the OMITA of Los Nietos and the La Manga Tourist Office ”, said the councilor.The dynamics of the exhibition is designed to comply with all anti-COVID-19 measures.
For this reason, it will have a specific safety and hygiene plan which is articulated through different security measures, such as signage vinyls distributed around the exhibition area to maintain the safety distance of citizen participation.
In addition, diaphanous, dispersed and open spaces have been chosen to maximize the separation of environments and reinforce social distancing.
The incorporation of the aforementioned QR codes in the panels to be able to listen to the aforementioned audio guides with the mobile phone are designed to avoid interpersonal contact, thus eliminating possible transmission vectors.
