| This afternoon the facilities will be nebulized and tomorrow the Red Cross material and air conditioning equipment will be removed | The Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia will sanitize the Cabezo Beaza Pavilion, after the march last night of the last migrants welcomed in these facilities who had arrived in Cartagena in recent weeks in boats and could present a risk of contagion by coronavirus.The facilities were temporarily ceded at the time by the Cartagena City Council to the Autonomous Community, which was in charge of the internal custody and the daily care, cleaning and maintenance of these people; while foreign security has been in charge of personnel from the State security forces and bodies, coordinated by the Government Delegation.After the march last night of the last migrants, the City Council will recover the management of the sports facilities that will be quickly sanitized and returned to their original state.This afternoon the interior will be nebulized, after which they will remain closed for 12 hours.
On Wednesday morning the Red Cross will remove its material with which they have treated sheltered people, as well as the fences and mobile air conditioning equipment that were enabled outside and the grilles that were removed to introduce the air conditioning in the pavilion.The Department of Sports also plans to check the state of the parquet and carry out some additional disinfection and cleaning tasks in case they were necessary.
