For the councilor of MC Cartagena, Jesús Giménez Gallo, the Cartagena formation "does it to guarantee that any action carried out on the slopes of the hill is a subsidiary of archeology and with the intention of making it become a true park archaeological, in which its important remains of more than two thousand years coexist with a space of recreation of the XXI century ". According to Giménez Gallo, "this protection is necessary because after pretending that they accepted José López's proposal to respect the environment of the five hills, Arroyo and Castejón's plan is to urbanize the hill and cover their vision, as confirmed at the meeting of 'Casco Antiguo' held on July 31 ". "All this must be accompanied by the suspension of the sale procedure.
