| The proceedings will last until September | The Cartagena City Council has launched a Shock Plan for Parks and Gardens, which is being carried out during the months of July and August, and will last until September.

This plan will reach all neighborhoods and councils of the municipality.The objective is to improve the maintenance of our gardens, carrying out in-depth actions, as explained by the councilor responsible for Parks and Gardens, Juan Pedro Torralba."This shock plan that we are carrying out is being very well received by neighborhood groups, and for that reason we have decided to extend it, expanding the number of neighborhoods in which it will act," said the mayor.The UTE de Jardines is carrying out various works of clearing, cleaning of flower beds, enhancement of trees and green areas, manual weeding of tree pits, cleaning, trimming of bushes, hedges, pruning of trees and pruning of palm trees.Likewise, low and horizontal branches have been eliminated, which invaded facades and covered lights.We have also proceeded to the felling of specimens whose condition presented risk of fracture and fall of branches to the public highway, with the possibility of causing accidents.This action is being carried out in El Algar, Alums, La Palma, La Puebla, Los Dolores, Barriada Hispanoamérica, Urbanization Castillitos, Huerto de las Bolas, Pozo Estrecho, Santa Ana, Vista Alegre, Llano del Beal, Strait of San Ginés , El Beal, La Aparecida, Isla Plana, La Azohía, La Chapineta, Urbanization San Ginés, El Albujón, Barriada Santiago, Media Legua, Barriada San Cristóbal, La Aljorra, Lomas del Albujón, La Mina, Miranda, Molinos Marfagones, Ports of Santa Bárbara, San Isidro, Cuesta Blanca, Campillo de Adentro, El Palmero, Galifa, El Portús, La Magdalena, La Manchica, Perín, Quarries, La Loma de Canteras, La Vaguada, La Asomada, Pozo Los Palos, Los Belones, San José Obrero, Los Urrutias, El Carmolí, Punta Brava, Molino Derribao, Los Beatos, Tallante, Ciudad Jardín, San Félix and Nueva Cartagena Urbanization."The objective of this emergency plan is to reach all the neighborhoods and councils of our municipality, for this reason we are maintaining daily contact with the representatives of Neighborhood Councils and Neighborhood Associations," said Juan Pedro Torralba.
