The manager of the Murcian Health Service, Asensio López (1i), held a meeting today with the head of the Cardiology service of the Santa Lucía hospital in Cartagena, Juan Antonio Castillo (1d), to discuss the planning of the Cartagena Hemodynamic service.
24 hours, which will come into operation throughout the last quarter of the year, and study the resources that are necessary for it.
The specific staff of this unit will be created with two hemodynamists, seven nurses and four auxiliaries, as progress was made in this session.The investment to complete this service, extending the hours of continuous attention, is included in the memory of SMS actions for this year 2020.
A million euros is foreseen to provide this service, expanding the hours and providing it with more cash, to serve the population 24 hours a day.The report expressly includes the actions that will be carried out by SMS within the budgets of this year 2020.The meeting was also attended by the director of Nursing of the Cartagena health area, Juan Antonio Sánchez-Castañol (2i) and the Medical director of the Cartagena health area, Carmen Santiago (2d).
