| The spaces offer the maximum guarantees of risk prevention throughout the value chain of the tourism sector and guarantee compliance with protocols to combat the coronavirus | The Deputy Mayor and Councilor of the Tourism area, Manuel Padín, together with the Deputy Mayor Cristina Pérez, have participated this Monday, August 3, in the act of the Autonomous Community where two Tourism offices of Cartagena have been distinguished with the 'Safe Tourism Certified' quality seal, granted by the Spanish Institute for Tourism Quality (ICTE), which offers coronavirus security and maximum risk prevention guarantees throughout the value chain of the tourism sector.Specifically, the distinction has fallen on the offices of Puertas de San José and La Manga, as well as 25 other spaces throughout the regional geography.The Minister of Tourism, Cristina Sánchez, who has presented the distinctions with the director of the ICTE, Fernando Fraile, has stressed that this certification "has been a great challenge and is a source of pride for the team of the Ministry of Tourism and for the City Councils, that we can say that this first space that visitors arrive at is a safe and officially certified place because we are the ones that offer the most security in all of Spain ”.The deputy mayor of Cartagena has expressed his satisfaction and that of the entire local government for receiving this quality seal at two of its offices and information points.

"It is a more than deserved reward for the enormous work that has been done by the entire Tourism area of ??the City Council," said Manuel Padín, who added that "the tourist is a fundamental part of our development and our economy and we must give him all the guarantees so that your stay in the municipality is as safe as possible and with the highest quality of care.

To this end, the technicians of the Ministry have provided all the resources available for the company to fulfill its mission, certifying the correct implementation of the system.The seal, created by the ICTE, is awarded in collaboration with the autonomous communities, town councils and the Secretary of State for Tourism to certify the implementation of the prevention of contagion measures against COVID19.

It also states that what is being certified is the implementation of a health risk prevention system against coronavuris.
