"It must be remembered that all citizens must adopt the necessary measures to prevent the spread of this disease, as well as their own exposure in situations that pose a risk," recalled the councilor for Public Roads, Juan Pedro Torralba."The mask must cover the mouth and nose, ranging from the chin to the nasal septum, so that the nostrils are not exposed," said Torralba.The penalty for the lack of use or inappropriate use of the mask is 100 euros, except in the following cases:Children under 6 years.People who present some type of illness or respiratory difficulty that may be aggravated by the use of the mask.People who, due to their situation of disability or dependency, do not have the autonomy to remove the mask.People who present behavioral changes that make their use unfeasible.Outdoor sports practice.Cases of force majeure or need situation.When, due to the nature of the activities, the use of the mask is incompatible.

In particular, their use will not be compulsory during the consumption of drinks and food, nor in swimming pools or beaches, although it is recommended to use them whenever you are out of the water.In cases where the use of masks is mandatory, the use of other means of protection or barrier is recommended, especially the use of face shields.
